Hey, Twitter, for recruiting updates, remember it’s two ‘g’s’ in Gregg and one ‘t’ in Wichita State

Wichita State basketball coaches are on the road recruiting and you can follow some of their travels on Twitter.

The Shockers are in an interesting spot with no scholarship seniors and seven juniors on the roster. As coach Gregg Marshall said last week, he and his staff are looking at 2017 prospects and might sign one. Turnover happens, as we know.

So the Shockers can lock in on a special prospect or three, likely a front-court addition.

Three Rivers (Mo.) Community College forward Gabe Grant (6-foot-6, 220 pounds) averaged 18.3 points and 7.3 rebounds while making 39 percent of his three-pointers as a freshman. He is expected to visit WSU and Marshall made a home visit earlier this week, according to Donald Nichols of Illinois Spartan Basketball.

WSU needs additions at many positions from the class of 2018, particularly big men to replace Shaq Morris, Darral Willis and Rauno Nurger.
