Wichita State announced an exhibition game against Henderson (Ark.) State on Nov. 4 as the final piece of its non-conference schedule.
The Shockers play Henderson State, an NCAA Division II school in Arkadelphia, Ark., on Nov. 4 at Koch Arena.
The Reddies are coached by Jimmy Elgas, a former assistant at Evansville and Kansas State.
WSU opens the regular season on Nov. 10 vs. UMKC at Koch Arena.
The American Athletic Conference portion of the schedule (including dates and TV) is expected in early September. Last year, the conference released that information on Sept. 8.
Times and TV for the non-conference schedule will be announced when the AAC schedule is final.
The Shockers will play Cincinnati, Connecticut, SMU, Tulsa, Houston, Temple and Central Florida in home and home series. The Shockers play at East Carolina and Memphis with no home games. South Florida and Tulane travel to Koch Arena, but don’t get home games with the Shockers.
Wichita State will play a closed scrimmage against Oral Roberts for a second consecutive season. The teams will practice on Oct. 28 at Koch Arena. The scrimmage is closed to the public and the media.
