Wichita State freshman basketball player Ede Eghraveba said he will transfer at the end of the semester.
"It just wasn't the right fit," he said.
Eghraveba, a 6-foot-6 forward from Rosedale, N.Y., did not play in WSU's exhibition game on Tuesday and has not practiced with the team since.
He said he will continue to play basketball, most likely at a school closer to home.
Eghraveba averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds at Evelyn Mack Academy in Charlotte, N.C., last year. He was viewed as a likely redshirt candidate by WSU coaches.
