Shocker women roll to fifth straight victory

Haleigh Lankster scored 21 points as the Wichita State women beat Evansville 65-50 on Saturday, wrapping up the regular season with their fifth straight win.

Lankster, a junior, hit two three-pointers and added six rebounds. Chynna Turner had 13 points and eight rebounds for WSU, which never trailed in the game.

WSU will be the No. 5 seed in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament in St. Charles, Mo., and will play Friday at 2:35 p.m.
