Illinois State women rally past Wichita State

The Illinois State women's team shot 61 percent from the field in the second hald on the way to a 69-60 win over Wichita State on Thursday night in Normal, Ill.

The Shockers led 30-28 at halftime as Jessica Diamond scored 11 points, but WSU couldn't hold on in the second half as three players fouled out.

WSU committed 21 turnovers and was credited with eight assists.

Jessica Diamond scored a team-high 15 points for WSU, Haleigh Lankster added 13 points and Jazimen Gordon had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Emily Hanley scored 20 for the Redbirds.
