Wichita State's 25th-ranked volleyball team lost its second consecutive conference match, falling to Creighton 3-1 (26-24, 25-18, 23-25 and 25-20) on Friday in Omaha.
Two hitting errors in the final five points cost the Shockers the opening set. Creighton jumped to an 18-8 lead in the second match on the way to a two-set lead.
WSU controlled the third set from the start, but couldn't carry the momentum over to the fourth set. After trading leads for the first half of the set, Creighton won consecutive points to take a 17-15 edge and WSU never led again.
Sarah McGee led the Shockers with 12 kills and seven blocks. Mary Elizabeth Hooper had 41 assists and Melissa Granville had 23 digs.

WSU lost at Missouri State last Friday, ending a 36-match winning streak in the Valley.
