Three things about Missouri

1. In the last five seasons there have been five shutouts in Big 12 games. Missouri has three of those and Oklahoma two. The Missouri shutouts came 58-0 against Colorado at MU in 2008, 26-0 over Colorado this season at MU, and 14-0 at Iowa State last Saturday night.

2. Opponents have made 8 of 17 field-goal attempts against the Tigers and Big 12 foes are just 3 of 10 against Missouri. Part of that "field goal defense" is Missouri has blocked five of those 17 attempts.

3. Missouri needs to avoid third downs on offense. The Tigers rank 98th — that's one up from the previous week — in converting third-down opportunities. MU has converted 53 of 151 chances, slightly more than 35 percent.

J. Brady McCollough's pick: Missouri, 38-17

The Jayhawks have a chance to end this season on a high note, but the Tigers will present problems for KU on both sides of the ball.
