Oklahoma: The Sooners have now lost four straight after falling to Kansas State 83-68 in Norman on Saturday. Oklahoma began the season with reason to think about contending for one of the top spots in the Big 12 standings with sophomore guard Willie Warren returning and the addition of McDonald's All-Americans Tommy Mason-Griffin and Tiny Gallon. But Warren, who leads OU with 16.3 points per game, has missed four games due to injury and one to a virus. OU coach Jeff Capel said Warren is out indefinitely with a right ankle injury.
Kansas: The Jayhawks can clinch at least a share of their sixth straight Big 12 regular season championship and extend the nation's longest active home court winning streak to 58 games with a victory tonight. KU can also make Sherron Collins and Brady Morningstar the winningest players during a four-year period in Kansas history. They are currently tied with Raef LaFrentz, C.B. McGrath and Billy Thomas with 123 wins. The Jayhawks beat Colorado on Saturday 94-74 behind 24 points from freshman Xavier Henry.
RPI as of Friday: OU 87, KU 1.
