Markieff Morris hot

Kansas sophomore forward Markieff Morris has made 14 field goals in a row after missing his first attempt of the season.

“That’s great,” KU coach Bill Self said. “You just jinxed him. Great. Nobody said anything last game, but you gotta bring it up now.”

On Friday night, Morris had 11 points and six rebounds. He made two three-pointers, showing off his range.

Worth noting

The Jayhawks made 14 of 25 3-point attempts.æ.æ.æ. Kansas outrebounded a smaller Tennessee Tech team 21-19 in the first half, then was outrebounded 19-16 in the second half and lost the battle 38-37 for the game.
