Cold shooting sinks K-State

Texas-San Antonio rallied from a first-half deficit to hand Kansas State a 72-55 loss on Monday in San Antonio, Texas.

Leading by eight in the first half, the Wildcats trailed by four at halftime but rallied to tie the score at 37-37 before K-State (8-2) went almost six minutes without a field goal.

The Wildcats shot a season-low of 25 percent from the field in the loss. Taelor Karr led K-State with 13 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Brittany chambers added nine points and 11 rebounds.

Ashleigh Franklin led UTSA with a game-high 20 points and Ashley Gardner with 12 points.
