Kansas State: Clemente is playing his best basketball. In his past five games, he's averaged 22.2 points, 18.3 in all conference games. Sutton has also found his shooting touch with five threes and 32 points in his last two games. K-State is undefeated this month. The Cats have lost six straight games at Texas Tech, their last win in 1985-86.

It's fighting for a chance to play in the NIT rather than the NCAA Tournament. Singletary is one of the top scorers in the Big 12. He has scored 20 or more points seven times. Texas Tech is coming off a 71-67 home loss to No. 21 Texas. The Red Raiders trailed by double digits most of the way but played well down the stretch and had a shot to send the game to overtime in the closing moments.
