What's at stake
Everything. The winner will win the Big 12 North, move on to play for the conference championship and then in a bowl game. If K-State loses, its season is over.
Cheers if ...
Daniel Thomas can bust a long run early and rush for more than 100 yards by game's end.
Jeers if ...
The Wildcats don't win the turnover battle. They gave the ball away three times against Missouri and paid for those mistakes dearly.
Three things about Nebraska
1 The Cornhuskers have uncharacteristically lost two games at home this season. Both Texas Tech and Iowa State left Lincoln with wins in October.
2 Nebraska will say goodbye to 13 seniors in its final home game Saturday. It is the smallest senior class in recent Cornhuskers history.
3 Nebraska has allowed an average of 11 points this season. That number ranks first in the Big 12 and third in the nation.
K-State's offensive line will need to keep Nebraska's impressive defensive tackles Jared Crick and Ndamukong Suh away from its running backs. They are two of the best defenders in the country and lead the Cornhuskers in tackles.
Kellis Robinett's pick: Nebraska 20-10
The game will be close, but in front of a pumped up home crowd Nebraska's defense will simply be too much for K-State.
