Big 12

Kirk Seminoff looks at today's other Big 12 games

Iowa State at Nebraska

When: 11:30 a.m.

Records: ISU 4-3, 1-2; NU 4-2, 1-1

The line: NU by 18 1/2

Radio/TV: FSN, Ch. 34

Storyline: You can make a case that five North teams could finish at least 5-3 and win the division (sorry, ISU, we're not seeing it). Can also make a case that the Huskers have the best road to the title, even after being pummeled at home last week. Crazy little division we live in.

No. 14 Oklahoma State at Baylor

When: 11:30 a.m.

Records: OSU 5-1, 2-0 Big 12; BU 3-3, 0-2

The line: OSU by 9 1/2

Radio/TV: Versus, Ch. 257

Storyline: Texas looms in a week for the Cowboys, so we'd normally say that OSU had better watch out in Waco. But the Houston loss keeps this bunch's eyes wide open. This isn't a trap game. Besides, Baylor's not trapping anyone.

Texas A&M at No. 21 Texas Tech

When: 6 p.m.

Records: A&M 3-3, 0-2; Tech 5-2, 2-1

The line: Tech by 21 1/2

Radio/TV: None

Storyline: Kansas State made a 100-point difference in eight days — minus-52 at Tech, plus-48 vs. A&M. So A&M whimpers into Lubbock with that stat — and will leave just as beaten up.

No. 3 Texas at Missouri

When: 7 p.m.

Records: UT 6-0, 3-0; MU 4-2, 0-2

The line: UT by 12 1/2

Radio/TV: KAKE, Ch. 10

Storyline: While the North is a mess, the South seems pretty simple. Texas has a good road test tonight, a great road test next week at Stillwater, and then seemingly a Pacific Princess cruise into Jerryworld, the Big 12 title game, and a spot in the national championship game. But it's never been that easy in the Big 12. Does the stumble come tonight?
