Goodrich leads Sterling into first

The Sterling men surged into a tie for first place in the KCAC basketball race with an 86-68 win over visiting Tabor behind 16 points and four assists from Zach Goodrich.

Tabor was alone in first place headed into the game.

Cody Brazelton added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Warriors, who improved to 12-9 overall and 8-3 in KCAC play.

Max Frise led Tabor (14-6, 8-3) with 15 points. Goddard product Ryan Chippeaux led the Bluejays with eight rebounds.
