Southeast's Thurman, Harris combine for 65

Gavin Thurman scored 33 ponts and Hayden Harris had 32 in Southeast's 100-86 non-league boys basketball victory at Derby on Saturday night.

Southeast pulled ahead 26-13 through one quarter and maintained its lead throughout.

Three Derby players reached 20 points. Jabril Richardson had 23, Kyler Steadman 22 and Cam Cornelius 21.

McPherson 80, Goddard 54 — Christian Ulsaker scored 33 points and Jack Pyle had 25 as the McPherson boys defeated Goddard 80-54 in an Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League game on Saturday in McPherson.

Alex Shoemaker had 14 points to lead Goddard.

Rico Hogan scored 23 to lead Dodge City. Trace Clark topped Collegiate with 13 points.
