Shockers win on Gordon's shot

Freshman Jazimen Gordon hit a wide-open 12-footer with 0.8 seconds left to give Wichita State a come-from-behind 53-52 victory over UMKC on Sunday in the Bahamas Sunsplash Shootout in Nassau.

Sheena Johnson, Haleigh Lankster and Jessica Diamond led the Shockers with nine points while Gordon chipped in eight.

The Shockers (7-3) trailed 31-19 at halftime.
