Wichita State golfer Dustin Garza was named an All-American today.
Garza, who just completed his senior season, is the first first-team All-American produced by the Shockers.
"This is an incredible honor," Garza said. "To be a first-team All-American is the goal of anyone who plays college golf and to become one of them is a huge honor."
The All-America team features 11 players.

Garza, from Mission, Texas, won seven events this season to give him a career total of 12. He was ranked third by Golfstat in their rankings and No. 12 by Golfweek. He finished with a 70.93 scoring average.
Later this month, Garza will represent the United States in the 2010 Palmer Cup at Royal Portrush Gofl Club in Northern Ireland. The Americans take on a team from Ireland and Great Britain.
