Bishop Carroll Hollyann Johansen is only 14, but her composure doesn't resemble that of a freshman.
Johansen completed a post-season sweep on Thursday afternoon at Northrock Lanes, winning the Class 5-1A bowling individual title to go along with her league and regional championships.
"She showed her poise and her savvy today," Carroll coach Jim Nance said. "She may be only 14, but she's as fierce a competitor as you'll find."
Johansen was the class of the field, rolling a 756 series that was 73 pins better than the next bowler. Johansen had the crowd going with her second game, barely missing a perfect game for a 289 score.
