Carroll 36, Kapaun 34 (Final) — Kapaun scored on a long pass play, but the game-tying two-point conversion failed. Carroll took control with Bell's 2-yard run with 2:18 to play. BC took the lead for the first time on Blake Bell's 1-yard run, followed by a two-point conversion. Jonathan Truman's 1-yard TD run on fourth down capped a 14-play drive to put Kapaun ahead earlier in the period. Bell scored from 8 yards with 6:41 to play in the third quarter, tying the game. Carroll pulled within seven on Thomas Woodard's 23-yard interception return for a score. Kapaun's Keaton Lewis scored on a 97-yard touchdown run to give the Crusaders a two-TD lead. Down 14-0, Carroll scored when Blake Bell hit Tyler Nance for a 72-yard score. Kapaun extended its lead on Jonathan Truman's 38-yard interception return of a Bell pass. KMC made the two-point conversion. Kapaun scored first when Lewis hit Tyler Nulik for a 25-yard touchdown. KMC missed the point-after try.
Collegiate 35, Halstead 13 (Final) — Brandon Searle became the first Spartan other than Brett LeMaster to score, hauling in a 19-yard pass from Blake Jablonski. LeMaster has four touchdowns -- the latest a 14-yard catch. He also has a 14-pass from Jablonski. LeMaster scored his second TD, a 45-yard punt return, to give the Spartans the lead. Jablonski hit LeMaster with a 16-yard TD pass to tie the score for Collegiate. Cody Ratcliffe scored from four yards to give the Dragons an early lead.
South 20, Heights 19 (Final) — Dreamius Smith got Heights within a point with his second touchdown, but the PAT was wide left, keeping South's lead at a point. Heights' John Moreland scored on a quarterback sneak with 9:53 to play. DuWayne Kelly scored from 79 yards to extend the Titans' lead. Roque Villearreal's 15-yard fumble return of a Heights kickoff return extended the Titans' lead. Zack Villearreal's quarterback sneak before halftime gave the Titans the lead. Smith's 35-yard run put Heights on the scoreboard first.
Garden Plain 47, Wichita Trinity 7 (Final) — Curt Pauly scored on a 4-yard run with 2 minutes to go in the third quarter. Trinity avoided the shutout, scoring with 6:01 to play in the third on Morgan Burns' 64-yard run. For Garden Plain, Daniel Youngers has three touchdowns -- 3, 3 and 6 yards. Sage Thimmesch scored from one yard. Thomas Bugner and Blake Withrow hooked up on a 76-yard pass play to make it 35-0.
Buhler 29, Mulvane 7 (4th Q) — Jake Reffner had a 4-yard touchdown run. Jorden Oden has two touchdown runs for Buhler. Dylan Hagerman has Mulvane's touchdown.
East 34, West 7 (Final) — C.J. Graham scored back-to-back touchdowns to give East a big lead. East's Jameal Farrison has two punt returns for touchdowns.
Rose Hill 21. Wellington 15 (Final) — Wellington coach Linn Hibbs was ejected from the game for arguing what he thought should've been a pass-interference call. Rose Hill scored two plays later to extend its lead. But Wellington scored to pull within five points. The Rockets' Derrick Decker scored on a 3-yard run. He had 76 rushing yards at halftime, and Rose Hill held Wellington to less than 60 offensive yards by half.
