What has happened to our society? News reports of religious extremists torturing and murdering women and children draw little reaction. However, a lion is killed in Africa, and the entire world angrily cries for revenge against the hunter.
Humans are in jeopardy of extinction because there are too many of us. Lions are in jeopardy of extinction because we’ve about killed all of them. Try to keep that in mind.
Obama lost his credibility before he came up with this thing about the choice being between the Iran deal and war. Everybody knows he wouldn’t even declare war on the Russians if they landed on the Gulf Coast and were running their tanks across Oklahoma.

Another typical week of negativity from Kansas newspaper editorials (Aug. 3 Kansas views). How tiresome to read about all the perceived shortcomings of Kansas government from the left week after week. I’d suggest it’s a reflection of the left-leaning education being espoused in journalism schools.

If Pitts thinks American cops are so bad, he should move to another country.
Why doesn’t the city raise the speed limit on Kellogg to 75 mph, as law enforcement is not enforcing the 60 mph speed limit?
How is it that every insurance company seems to know I’m turning 65 this year and I might need a supplemental insurance plan? Where is the privacy? Don’t call me; I’ll call you.
Kudos to people who recycle. However, what makes you think I want to pick up all the recyclables when you let them blow throughout the neighborhood?
