It might be too late, but if Washburn University has a good government finance course, Gov. Sam Brownback should enroll before doing anything else.

So Brownback wants to eliminate the state income tax for the poor. He’s just doing that to make himself look good. When the “poor” file their state and federal income tax, they will end up getting their tax back and then some. Some even make money.
If taxes are raised on businesses, who do you think is going to pay for it? Businesses don’t pay taxes. End users pay taxes.

It boggles my mind why clothing retailers don’t have a computer to scan your entire body when you walk through their front doors. If they did, they could produce custom clothing on the spot.
Parents: What makes you think other people in a restaurant or retail store want to hear your kids scream and yell? We didn’t have them and don’t want to hear them. If you can’t control them, leave them with a babysitter.
