When America faces a common enemy we put our religious, ethnic and ideological differences aside and work as one, which is why we will never be defeated on our home soil. Muslims can’t get past their Shiite and Sunni differences to defeat ISIS. How sad for them and the world.

I don’t care about ISIS. The local citizens should defend the countries themselves. We’ve already lost too much money and too many lives. We should stay out.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation divided politically by Obama, with liberty and justice sometimes.
Someone needs to notify Webster’s that the definition of marriage has changed. First the Bible, now the dictionary. What will be next?
Kansas legislators should not get paid for overtime in the session. I didn’t authorize it.

Not honoring the people of Wichita on the marijuana vote has confirmed that elections, from local to national, just aren’t free and fair. Thank you, Kansas, for proving me correct. I will never vote again.
Wow – Sedgwick County commissioners actually did it (“County ends agreement with GWEDC,” May 21 Local & State). Roll up the welcome mats, as business and industry are no longer welcome in Sedgwick County. Good luck.
June 3 is the scheduled opening date for both the Wichita Eisenhower National Airport terminal and Costco. I predict a bigger crowd at Costco.
