I was born and raised a Kansan. For the first time in my life, I am ashamed to say that I am a Kansan. That’s because of Sam Brownback, Mike O’Neal and Kris Kobach.
Any book that endures thousands of years and still has billions of readers is known as a great classic. All great classics are a blend of moral lessons, both in real life and through symbolism. The Bible holds morally true lessons – some based on actual fact and others symbolic.
Radical Christians are ruining Christianity, just as radicals in other religions ruin theirs.
If the transit people really want to fix the bus service in Wichita, all they have to do is tell the Wichita City Council that they are real estate developers from Minnesota and they plan to turn the buses into condominiums. Then watch the taxpayer money flow in.

Someone in our nation’s capital must have a special interest in Patagonia, Argentina, because bureaucrats allocated $1.57 million to be used to search for fossils there. It would be far better if they would forget fossils and take an interest in the American taxpayer.
What a wonderful, refreshing story about the deputies and the ducks (May 21 Local & State). It was so nice to read about these compassionate men who took time to save the mama duck and her babies. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all be more caring for animals, and people for that matter?

Be a respectful neighbor.
