The Affordable Care Act isn’t about regulating health care or even health care insurance in America. It is about regulating the American individual.
Do people really want the government in charge of health care? It takes two hours to get a driver’s license. Try waiting two months for an MRI. And do you really want Kathleen Sebelius and her ilk deciding who gets health care and who has to wait?
If the U.S. Supreme Court decides a health insurance mandate violates personal freedom, hospitals should have the freedom to turn away the uninsured. I’m tired of paying the bill for every young, healthy person without insurance who ends up in intensive care because he drove his car into a tree.
I’m a 62-year-old cancer survivor who is unable to obtain insurance. I’m always one CAT scan away from losing my house and retirement savings. All I want is the same insurance as Dick Cheney. If that won’t happen, then I’ll gladly take Obamacare.

When people stop breaking wind, wearing heavy perfume and talking loudly in casinos, then I might quit smoking. Maybe they can provide a small nonsmoking section for you crybabies. The state and casino operators made an agreement, because smokers provide a third of a casino’s revenue.
If people did not have sex, there would be no need for birth control or abortion. I have not had sex in 30 years, and I am very happy.
