Are you unemployed? Can’t find a job? Come election time, remember what President Obama tried to do two times (pass his jobs bill), and what Sens. Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran did both times (voted “nay”).

Promoting class warfare has inflamed protesters in New York City and elsewhere, costing businesses and cities millions of dollars. Obama is expecting this radical behavior to turn into votes for him in 2012.

The Democratic Party controlled the presidency and the Congress for two years, with no votes on creating jobs. Now that the 2012 election is on the horizon, jobs have suddenly become very important to Obama just to get votes.

The Obama administration took $500 billion from Medicare to pay for Obamacare. This was passed by an all-Democratic vote. When cuts are made to Medicare, you will known whom to blame.

Teens seem to be more sheltered by their parents than ever. Being protective is fine. Let them know what’s out there, but don’t let society teach them what they should be.

Thank you, veterans. We appreciate your dedication and sacrifices. Most of my career, I have had the day off work on Nov. 11. My husband, a U.S. Army veteran, has never had the day off from work on Veterans Day. What’s wrong with this picture?

We definitely live in Kansas. Earthquakes one day, snow the next.

The Penn State scandal is a perfect example of what’s wrong with the world we live in. Several adults were more concerned with their stature and careers than with the well-being of a boy, and allegedly chose to turn a blind eye to a situation that might have otherwise cost them their jobs. Unbelievable.

I can’t decide whether I should be a curmudgeon or a bandersnatch today.
