Opinion Line Extra (Nov. 2)

In one day, Herman Cain's stance changed from "I don't know anything about any sexual harassment settlement" to "Oh, THAT sexual harassment settlement." This came a week after he explained about five different stances on abortion. Cain has no credibility whatsoever.

Someone thanked Obama for infrastructure improvements paid for by stimulus money helping make Wichita "a pleasant place to drive around in." The sentence should have said: "to drive around in looking for a job in your lousy economy."

Has anyone besides me noticed that during the GOP debates, the only candidate who answers a question with an actual solution is Ron Paul? The reason the media ignore him is because, unlike the others, he's not acting like a spoiled child.

European debt continues to rock our financial world. The Europeans have unsustainable social programs, but those who are used to the handouts are rioting to prevent any changes. That will be the United States in a few years.

I encourage all homeless people to find an Occupy Wall Street protest. I'm sure demonstrators will be happy to accommodate the homeless for the winter.

More than eight years ago, the wealthy minority with ever-expanding pockets were trying to define their "trickle-down theory" to all of us in the quickly disappearing middle-income bracket. As one of that vast majority, I haven't seen one drop in my pocket yet.

"You can fool some of the people some of the time, most of the people most of the time, but not all the people all the time." That saying has never been more pertinent than it is today. Are you a fool, or do you follow the money to find the truth?

Don't "misunderestimate" George Bush after all this time. He may be coming to Wichita to tell us if our children "is" learning.

Some people can be poor and broke while others can be broke and but not poor. Poor people have poor ways.

Don't be too harsh on women who show cleavage in their costumes. That's all many of them have to offer.

I knew it, I knew it — Kim Kardashian is divorcing after 72 days of marriage. Does anyone think these Hollywood freaks actually are in love? Or is it just who can get the most publicity and the most expensive gifts?
