Wednesday and Thursday will feature lots of sunshine and highs in the mid- to upper 90s. South winds will be in the teens, gusting to about 20 miles an hour. Heat indeces could touch 108 both days, according to the weather service.
A front will bring cooler air and chances for rain Thursday night and Friday, forecasters say. Highs behind the front will be only in the mid-80s this weekend.
