A few showers left over from last night’s strong storms may sprinkle the Wichita metropolitan area Friday morning before scurrying off to the southeast, forecasters say.
Highs today on a partly sunny day will only reach the mid-80s, with light and variable winds, forecasters say.
“We could see another round of storms” tonight, National Weather Service meteorologist Jaclyn Ritzman said. “Hopefully not as bad as last night ... we don’t have all the ingredients we had last night.”
Small hail and robust winds are the primary threats tonight, she said.
