Wichita may see a scattered storm or two in the area Wednesday morning, forecasters say, before skies clear out and temperatures soar into the mid- to upper 90s.
Winds will be out of the south in the teens, with gusts topping 25 miles an hour. Chances for showers and thunderstorms return tonight and will persist into the weekend.
Highs on Thursday will peak in the upper 80s, forecasters say, with the best chances for storms in the late afternoon and evening. Heavy rain is possible with some of the storms.
Highs on Friday and Saturday will again be in the upper 80s.
