Morning clouds will make way for plenty of sunshine on Tuesday in the Wichita metropolitan area, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the mid-90s, with varying winds in the teens. Gusts could top 25 miles an hour at times.
More clouds will move in tonight, bringing another chance for showers and thunderstorms overnight. Winds out of the south will be in the teens gusting at times to more than 20 miles an hour.
Wednesday will be much like Tuesday, forecasters say, with highs in the mid-90s on a mostly sunny day. Chances for showers and thunderstorms return Wednesday night and will persist into the weekend.
