If you’re weary of the winds that have buffeted Kansas on many days this spring, you’ll enjoy Wednesday.
Breezes will be light in the Wichita metropolitan area, forecasters say, staying below 15 miles an hour on a mostly cloudy day. Highs will climb to the upper 60s to low 70s.
Clouds will persist overnight, when lows settle in the upper 40s. Thursday will be pleasant, forecasters say, but it’ll be a bit windier, too.
Highs are projected to reach the mid-70s with southerly winds in the teens and gusting to near 20 miles an hour.
