A chilly morning will make way for a breezy spring day in the Wichita area Wednesday, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the mid-60s under partly sunny skies. Winds out of the west will be light this morning but strengthen this afternoon into the upper teens and low 20s. Gusts could reach 30 miles an hour.
Lows tonight are likely to dip to the low 30s with a few clouds in the sky, forecasters say. Thursday should offer more 60s and more sunshine, with winds shifting to the north and occasionally pushing into the low teens.
More clouds move in late, keeping lows in the upper 30s to low 40s early Friday morning. A chance of rain develops on Friday, forecasters say, with highs only in the upper 40s.
