It’ll be a sunny day with a bit of bite to it in the Wichita metropolitan area on Wednesday, forecasters say.
Highs should climb into the mid-50s, with northerly winds in the teens and gusting to nearly 25 miles an hour. Overnight lows will slide to the low 30s, with Thursday shaping up to be a chillier cousin of Wednesday: sunny, breezy and colder, with highs in the upper 40s.
But a warming trend arrives Friday, forecasters say, with sunshine and highs in the low 60s. The weekend will see highs in the upper 60s, with sunshine on Saturday and clouds moving in on Sunday.
