Gusty north winds will give Monday plenty of teeth in the Wichita area.
Highs today will be in the mid- to upper 20s, forecasters say, with north winds approaching 30 miles an hour with gusts. It’ll be a mostly cloudy day, with winds steady in the upper teens.
Overnight lows are likely to slip to the single digits, forecasters say, with wind chills dropping below zero. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-20s. But winds will be much calmer, staying in the single digits.
A slight chance of snow flurries enters the forecast Tuesday night.
