Those biting north winds that is making Wichita shudder Wednesday morning should ease by the time school ends and folks are starting the drive home from work, forecasters say.
Highs will climb into the upper 30s, with north-northwest winds in the teens. Gusts will approach 30 miles an hour.
Overnight lows will dip into the teens, forecasters say, and then Thursday will begin a gradual warming trend. Highs should reach the upper 40s under mostly sunny skies.
It’ll still be a bit gusty, with west-southwest winds in the teens and pushing at times into the low 20s. Friday should offer a mostly sunny day in the Wichita area, with highs in the upper 40s.
