Wind chills will again be in a negative mood in the Wichita area on Friday, forecasters say.
With north winds gusting to more than 20 miles an hour, wind chills will be below zero in the metropolitan area at times. Highs may nudge into the low 20s on a mostly sunny day.
Overnight lows will be in the single digits, with wind chills again below zero. The weekend should be warmer, though, with highs reaching the low to mid-30s, forecasters say.
There’s a chance of freezing drizzle Sunday night, however, and snow flurries enter the forecast early next week.
