The Wichita branch of the National Weather Service has produced a video taking a look back at 2015’s significant severe weather events in the region.
The video also touches on major events elsewhere in the country and the unprecedented tornado outbreak on the High Plains of western Kansas in November.
One of the November tornadoes southwest of Dodge City was on the ground for more than 50 miles and at one point was a mile wide. The video touches on weather events such as high winds, heavy rain and tornadoes in the region.
