Overnight lows were on par with average highs for this time of year, though temperatures won’t climb much before they peak for the day. Winds in the teens out of the southwest early will switch to the north later in the day, forecasters say.
Christmas Eve should be mostly sunny, with highs in the upper 40s and north winds in the teens. Christmas Day in the Wichita area should be mild, forecasters say, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-50s. Southerly winds will be in the teens.
