Chilly temperatures, snow in the air – Thursday will feel more like Christmas than much of December has so far in the Wichita area.
Highs won’t get out of the 30s today in Wichita, forecasters say. Snow flurries are possible this afternoon and evening, but won’t accumulate.
Overnight lows are expected to dip to the low 20s, meaning folks heading out for early showings of “Star Wars” will want to bundle up. Friday will be warmer, forecasters say, with sunny skies and highs in the mid-40s.
The weekend will see temperatures continue to climb under partly cloudy skies, with highs in the mid-50s on Saturday and the low 60s on Sunday.
