Much of Kansas could see at least a little snow Friday and early Saturday, forecasters say.

The heaviest snow is expected in northwest Kansas, with as much as 6 inches possible in the Colby and Goodland areas. Dodge City and Hays could see an inch or two, while Wichita may only see a half-inch or so by early Saturday morning.

The Dodge City branch of the National Weather Service has produced a graphic showing how much snow is anticipated throughout the state. Wichita has logged 4.5 inches of snow so far this winter.
