Wichita can enjoy one more relatively balmy day before wintry weather returns, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the mid-50s on Tuesday under sunny skies, with gusty south winds topping 30 miles an hour at times. But snow will be falling in northwest Kansas again, and that colder air will make its way across the state late Tuesday.
Overnight lows are expected to fall into the 20s, with Wednesday’s highs in Wichita only in the mid-40s. Thursday will be even colder, with highs in the upper 30s. No precipitation is expected this week, forecasters say.
