A day after nearly tying the record high, Wichita will bask in another day of upper 60s.
Sunny skies and shifting winds will also mark Thursday in the metropolitan area, forecasters say. South-southwest winds early in the day will shift to the north later in the day and gust to nearly 25 miles an hour at times.
Friday will offer another helping, with highs in the upper 60s under sunny skies. But cooler temperatures and chances for rain arrive Saturday, when temperatures will top out in the 50s.
They’ll peak in the 40s on Sunday, when rain and snow are possible, before rebounding into the 50s for Monday, forecasters say.
