It’ll be a damp, foggy, chilly morning in the Wichita area Monday, forecasters say.
Drizzle can be expected, along with visibilities reduced to as little as a half-mile. Temperatures may touch the 50s on a mostly cloudy day, with light morning winds making way for gusty northwest winds by the afternoon. Steady breezes will be in the 20s, with gusts topping 30 miles an hour.
Overnight lows will dip to the low 30s, with colder temperatures arriving Tuesday. Highs will only be in the upper 30s, with a chance of rain and snow in the afternoon. Northerly winds will be in the teens, with gusts approaching 30 miles an hour.
Wednesday should be mostly sunny, forecasters say, with highs again in the upper 30s. But Christmas Day will be warmer, with highs again near 50.
