Wichita weather for Monday: Warm start to November continues

The first weekday of November will be a warm, sunny day in the Wichita area, forecasters say.

Highs should reach the mid-70s under sunny skies, with light winds out of the south occasionally touching double digits.

Overnight lows will settle in the low 50s, with Tuesday being even warmer in the Wichita area, forecasters say. Highs are expected to climb into the upper 70s, with winds becoming breezy later in the day.

South winds in the teens will intensify into the 20s by afternoon, gusting at times to more than 30 miles an hour. Wednesday will be another breezy day, with highs in the mid-70s and south winds gusting to more than 30 miles an hour at times.
