Wichita weather: Another warm day for mid-October

Courtesy of National Weather Service

Unseasonably warm temperatures for mid-October will continue for a few more days in the Wichita area, forecasters say.

Highs on Tuesday will reach the mid-80s, with mostly sunny skies and light and variable winds. Those winds will turn to the north and northwest by afternoon, but remain in the single digits.

Overnight lows will be in the low 50s, forecasters say, with Wednesday and Thursday bringing more sunshine and 80s. But a cool front arrives Friday, dropping highs into the mid-60s.
