Light sprinkles are dotting the Wichita metropolitan area as the work week begins.

Forecasters say those won’t last long before skies begin to clear. Highs should reach the low 70s under partly sunny skies. Winds will be calm early and then stir slightly out of the northeast.

Overnight lows will be in the low 50s, with Tuesday offering a bit more sunshine and highs in the upper 70s.

The warm-up continues Wednesday and Thursday, forecasters say, with highs in the low 80s. Rain is possible Wednesday night and Thursday.
