Wichita and south-central Kansas could see spotty rain showers – including a bit of hail – through mid-morning on Wednesday forecasters say.
Some locations could see a quarter-inch of rain or more, according to the National Weather Service. Once the rain ends, skies will clear and temperatures will climb to the low 70s.
Overnight lows will drop into the 40s and Friday will be sunny and autumnal, forecasters say, with highs in the mid-60s. Rain chances return on Friday night and continue Saturday, when temperatures will struggle to reach the low 60s on a cloudy, rainy day.
