Wichita weather: Morning frost in spots, afternoon high in 60s

Patchy morning frost is possible in the Wichita area Wednesday, forecasters say, as temperatures dip to the mid- to upper 30s.

But daytime readings should rebound nicely, with highs climbing to nearly 70 under sunny skies. Winds will be light and variable.

Wednesday night night won’t be as cold, with lows settling in the low 40s, and Thursday will again see highs in the upper 60s under plenty of sunshine.

But Halloween will be crisp, forecasters say, with highs only in the upper 50s.
