Wichita weather: Early fog, more clouds

Patchy fog could be an issue for commuters in the Wichita area early Tuesday morning, forecasters say.

Once the fog burns off, clouds will start to move into the region as highs climb to the mid-70s. Winds will be light out of the south and southeast, staying in the single digits.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s, forecasters say, with highs on Wednesday reaching the mid- to upper 70s under partly sunny skies.

South winds will be gusty at times, approaching 25 mph. Those winds will announce the arrival of a cold front bringing a good chance of rain Wednesday night into Thursday.
