A couple of placid weather days are in store for the Wichita area, forecasters say.
Highs today should climb to the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be light out of the northeast, staying in the single digits.
Overnight lows will dip into the mid-60s under clear skies, with Wednesday offering more sunshine and highs again in the mid-80s, forecasters say. Winds will switch the south and southeast but remain light.
Those winds will pick up some on Thursday, forecasters say, gusting to nearly 20 miles an hour at times under mostly sunny skies. Highs are projected to climb near 90.
